Where is the cabin located?
Jens Peaceful River Cabin is located in Blue Ridge, Georgia. More specifically, it is in the beautiful North Georgia mountain community of Dial. This area is also commonly referred to as the Aska Adventure Area. It is about 90 minutes north of Atlanta, via I-575. Explicit directions and a detailed map will be supplied with confirmed reservations.
What do we need to bring for our stay at Jens Cabin?
You will need to bring personal toiletries, which includes bath soap and shampoo. The cabin is stocked with an initial supply of toilet paper, trash bags, and dish soap. Bed linens, towels, and wash clothes are provided. The cabin has a washer and dryer, but you will need to bring laundry detergent if you plan to use. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cookware. You will need to bring food and beverages. You should stop at one of the grocery stores in Ellijay or Blue Ridge to stock up on your way to the cabin.
Do you provide firewood?
The cabin has a wood-burning fireplace with an initial supply of firewood provided during the fall and winter months. After the initial supply is used, additional wood is the responsibility of the guest. No firewood is provided during the spring and summer months of May through September. Absolutely no fires are permitted outside.
Is there a grill at the cabin?
The cabin has three charcoal grills and the necessary grilling utensils. One grill is on the riverfront and one on each porch. You will need to bring your own charcoal and charcoal lighter.
Do I have to clean the cabin before check out?
We ask that you wash dirty dishes and utensils before you leave. Remove garbage from kitchen and bathroom and place in garbage can outside. Strip beds and place dirty bed linens, dirty towels, and dirty washcloths on the bathroom floor. |
